Homestyle Boarding - Doggies stay overnight in our home. The dogs will have access to a big back yard and comfy couches just like that do in their own home. There are nice beds to sleep on or you can bring your own. You bring the food, treats and a leash and the Fairy Dogmother will take care of everything else. Their vaccinations must be current with the license visible on the collar and a flea/tick preventative must be used to stay with us. We must have a copy of their current vaccinations in our files. We will walk and play and there will be one on one attention given to your dog. Most dogs like to be rocked and cuddled and the Fairy Dogmother loves to do just that. They will become a part of our family when they are here and we will keep the same rules applied in your home when you bring them to our attention. Their socialization skills greatly improve while visiting us and there is magic in the air when the doggies are here with us. Some dogs experience sadness when they leave our house but we tell them we cannot wait to see them again.
Doggie Daycare - Was established a few years back when folks needed to leave their dog for the day to go to work or Busch Gardens or knew they would be working late. Drop off at my home starts at 7a and ends at 7p but is based on a 12 day beginning at drop off. It is the same as Homestyle Boarding except they do not spend the night. (same rules apply). Dogs that come here usually go on several walks and get treats. If you are a recurring doggie daycare client you will get a $5.00 discount with overnight boarding. Puppies learn to socialize and sick dogs get the care they need all day long.
Who lives with the Fairy Dogmother? We have a dobie, Jamaica. She is 7 very gentle and social. She is friendly and loves playing with the doggies that are here. She never meets a stranger. Patches is our bicon mix. She is 11 years old and she keeps to herself by laying on the back of the couch. She gets involved some with playing and making weird faces. Gracie was adopted this summer from one of my clients who could no longer take care of her due to a new baby. She is 8 and a Bichon. Jimmy Buffet is our 9 year old tabby cat and he is in and out. He knows that other dogs are here and he waits to see if they are friendly. If not, he hangs out in the backyard. Sophie is our elder kitty is 11 years old and she is very shy. She is also an indoor outdoor kitty but the Fairy Dogfather is the only one she will come to. She will lay in the chairs outside and not even move if a dog is near. She is very used to having visitors here. My sister Brenda now lives with us and assist with our boarding and sitting in homes.
We take Homestyle boarding and doggie daycare very serious. The dogs are separated into different areas of the house during feeding time. If they are nibblers they are given multiple chances to eat. We love having our special guests and we miss them when they leave. Pick up and drop off is offered (based on distance)if your trip is leaving very early or arriving very late. Due to the accelerating gas prices we charge by mileage. We want to WOW you with our customer service skills and make a lifetime friend with you and your dog.
